It all started with a simple idea: “Pizza, beer, and ice cream.” In January of 2013, we opened our doors to celebrate this idea, but with our own twist. Here at Community Pie, we specialize in authentic Neapolitan and traditional New York Style pizza making, hand crafted, homemade gelato from our sister restaurant Milk & Honey, and a huge selection of craft beers. Pizza all over the world is usually associated with family style dining and is meant to share. Our goal is to deliver that same experience here at Community Pie. Our menu is structured in a way that allows you to order salads, pizza, wine and gelato to share at the table, and we highly encourage everyone to do so.

Jennifer Jennings

Operating Partner

Born and raised in Chattanooga, Jen is a lover of all things relaxing. On her days off, she often enjoys hiking, yoga, mediating and riding her bike. She is a pescatarian and loves all plants, but will never leave her house without teasing her hair. She and her husband have three cats: Karl, Lionhearted and Mildred. While operating Community Pie, her ultimate fear has developed into her fear of running out of pizza dough!

Brian Scott

General Manager

Brian, or Bear, is always up for an adventure. When he isn't helping make sure Community Pie is running smoothly, he is hiking, kayaking, climbing trees really fast, brewing booze, cooking, and playing with his two kids. His collection of animals is impressive with three dogs, one cat, three goats, ten chickens, and four ducks. If that wasn't enough mouths to feed, Brian's two kiddos, Austin and Ansley, make sure he stays busy. Brian hopes to one day eat freshly caught salmon on the riverbanks of Alaska, summit Denali, and fly a plane in hopes of ultimately becoming a Bush Pilot.

Jose Punzo

Kitchen Manager

Jose, or more commonly known as Smokey, has worked in the restaurant world for sixteen years starting out as a dishwasher and working his way up to his current position as kitchen manager. Smokey has a love for music and tattoos, but hates driving. His secret talent is playing drums, ultimately leading him to appreciate a wide range of music. He has two children, Chris who is thirteen and Geneses who is eight. Other than his children, his most prized possession are his two dogs. He hopes to one day become a professional chef and jump from an airplane.
